So I mistakenly purchased sneaky balm instead of the concealer (I was so excited apparently I can’t read) but I still really love this one. I was unsure of what color would work but N10 ended up being spot on. I’d heard about their colors just being flattering for everyone, but I’m not great with makeup so I expected to make the wrong call. I’m oily, olive and I don’t need much coverage, just an evening out of some general redness. I apply with my ring finger and stamp out with a brush and when they say this is undetectable, that’s absolutely true. I’d mostly given up on makeup because I don’t want it to be seen and stuff inevitably breaks down or tries too hard. I just want a more even complexion and this does that in just the right way. You know how in movies you KNOW the actresses are wearing makeup, but you usually can’t see it? Sneaky balm. Seriously I can take my little quad (SB, cheek, highlight and sculpt) and a brow pencil and mascara and feel beautiful while still feeling like I look like me. This is what no makeup makeup should be, not 14 steps and 9 tools. I can’t wait to try the concealer but the balm is also just… so great.

I have oily, sensitive, acne prone skin and a very light but slightly olive undertone (neutral-cool). I don't like foundations or anything heavy as I feel they don't wear well on my skin and usually contribute to latent breakouts. My personality / lifestyle is much more suited to something sheer/semi-sheer that is forgiving in application method... I put a lot of time and effort into great skincare, so I don't need or want something heavy that doesn't look like skin and compromises my skin in the long term. I absolutely love this smooth, light formula and its perfect match for my skin tone.

The product applies sheer to very sheer depending upon how much is applied/method of application and is very easy to use on the go and without much skill. I am sure it *can* apply with more coverage, but I haven't tried. I don't need something long-wearing, and the creaminess of the formula is well-suited to my oily skin. This may be off-putting to some who want their base to "set," but I find that "setting" skin products don't work on my skin and require constant maintenance throughout the day.

This product is perfect in that I can apply it and just forget it... some of it may slowly wear away throughout the day, but it never looks weird as it naturally wears. Perhaps I could get longer wear with a primer, but that isn't a priority for me and I like wearing as few layers as possible to keep my skin happy. Best of all, it hasn't bothered my skin even with daily wear and looks like I don't have anything on. This is my holy grail and I don't think I will ever use anything else again. I am so happy with this product and wish I learned about it sooner!

I have never been a foundation person. Could never find one that didn’t look like make up and hated the way they feel but wished I could cover up acne scars and pigmentation.
I really gave up, used bare minerals original but my skin hasn’t been loving it as much the older I get. This sneaky balm is fantastic!!! I look like me but so much better! I can’t feel it on and my dry skin looks so healthy. Love love all salt New York products!

I love everything about this product. Its light to medwim coverage, very easy to use if apply with your fingers and i am so surprised that I, a mediwm golden with olive undertone find a perfect shade for me and that never happend to me.

I like this a lot. I will say, if you build it, it tends to look a bit greasy. I don’t like a setting powder, but it would take care of that. What I like the most is the price, convenience, and the ingredients. Good clean ingredients and no fuss packaging. Everything in one place. Plan on repurchasing a darker shade for the summer.
